A Moulvibazar court sent four men to jail for sexually harassing college students.
Sadnan Rahman Naved, 21, Fahad Ahmed Munna, 24, Sayem Ahmed, 23 and Lokman Ahmed, 23, were produced before court on Thursday where the court rejected their bail petition and sent them to jail.
Moulvibazar Court Inspector Md Abdul Hye confirmed the incident.
According to police, the accused were arrested over a case filed for harassing three college students of honours first year and third year.
On May 13, one of the victim’s cousin lodged a case under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act, said Moulvibazar Model police station OC Alamgir Hossain.
