“As of May, some 815.98 BCF gas has been extracted in the current fiscal year and if this rate of extraction remains unchanged, it would be possible to use the gas for about 16 years till 2031.”
State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid yesterday said in reply to a question at a budget discussion in parliament on Sunday.
“Tests have found that the wheat remains true to the parameters based on which it was imported from Brazil four months ago.”
Food Minister Kamrul Islam, who has been blamed for importing “rotten” wheat from Brazil, has challenged critics on Sunday saying the quality of the grain is absolutely fine.
