The Bangabandhu Gold Cup international football tournament 2019 is scheduled to take place from October 22nd to November 2, Bangladesh Football Federation announced its plan after a meeting Saturday.
A BFF press release said, the 16th regular meeting of its executive committee in the presence of its president Kazi Salahuddin at BFF House discussed about the tournament, along with some other agendas.
The meeting gave the authorization of the points table of the recently concluded Bangladesh Premier League, and felicitated its champion Bashundhara Kings and runners-up Abahani Limited.
It also congratulated Abahani for reaching the Inter-Zone semi-final of the AFC Cup and praised the club’s two players Mamunul Islam and Sohel Rana as they won the award of “Allianz goal of the week” by scoring two spectacular goals in the tournament.
