We’ve all heard the old, “the future is now,” phrase being sold to the average consumer, but Apple takes this notion quite seriously. It is almost jaw-dropping to what the new iPhone X is capable of, with its incredible advancements that no other smartphone in the market has. TrueDepth camera features and other technological advances through its chips makes a first in many departments. This past Tuesday, we were graced with the magnificence that is Apple and their introduction to the new iPhone 8, 8 Plus and iPhone X. Let’s dive right into the highlights of all the wonderful things from Apple.
We’re not hiding anything here, and you’ve most likely have already seen and heard about all the new things in the iPhone X. We stress you get used to calling it the iPhone 10 because the X is, of course, the Roman numeral for 10. Trust us, tech geeks will get rubbed the wrong way.
The obvious takeaway is how gorgeous the new iPhone X looks. No longer is there a “Home” button, being replaced with gestures on the display. There is also the introduction of unlocking your phone with facial recognition. The major concern is heavy on security, but Apple has insured us it is actually safer than fingerprint sensors or TouchID. In fact, as shown at the iPhone event, the technology behind FaceID is incredible.
Stainless steel and glass fronts and backs have all the elements of a premium smartphone. You don’t need to take our word for it, as all the leading YouTube tech celebs have already covered the new releases to the best of their abilities. You’ll get plenty of visual treats and detailed information on YouTube and pages like The Verge or Cnet. We still haven’t gotten our hands on it of course, but we won’t really know the full experience until the end of this year.
We would love to get into all the other information gathered at the event, and eventually, we will in the coming weeks, but today is all about the most advanced iPhone in the company’s history. You should also be well aware of its hefty price tag starting at $999. The iPhone X has a 5.8-inch OLED display. The brand has also slapped on, what they call, a Super Retina Display with 1125 x 2436 pixels of resolution, which makes it the highest-density screen on any iPhone.
There is also the glass back, found on the new iPhone 8 and 8 Plus as well, which allows the phones to finally charge wirelessly on a charging platform. This also cases the amazing camera at the rear, which is superior to any other. While there haven’t been thorough tests just yet, we’ve already seen how there has been a significant change in the front camera. Many are saying it has become slightly more important than the rear. The way the phone’s camera capabilities, boosted by the new and impressive A11 Bionic chip, is really astonishing.
The entire show was about preparing the iPhone and its users for the future. Well, it’s probably safe to say that’s exactly what Apple did this past Tuesday.
And the rest
Again, the actual test is when folks get their hands on these devices and test them fully on a regular basis. So far, the signs look toward a very positive review. Alongside the new phones, there also the new iWatch series that now allows making phone calls, as well as a charging dock that can charge an iPhone, iWatch and those expensive wireless Bluetooth earphones all at once. Exciting times ahead, people, keep your eyes and ears open for what is to come from the tech titan that is Apple.
