11 killed in road crashes

In Panchagarh, a child died when a auto rickshaw hit him in district's Sadar upazila on Sunday

At least 11 people killed and scores injured in separate road crashes in eight districts of the country on Sunday.

In Sylhet, two men were killed after a stone laden truck ran them over in Companignaj on Sunday.

The deceased are Shah Alam, 21 and Khairul Islam, 24 from Companignaj upazila, confirmed by SI Khairul Bashar of Comapniganj police station confirmed the matter.

In Gopalganj, one man was killed and five others injured in a head on collision between a bus and a pickup van near Dattadanga area on Sunday.

The diseased is Parvez Sheikh, 30, son of Mokhlesh Sheikh from Gopalkathai village of Bagerhat, confirmed Monirul Islam, OC of  Gopalganj Sadar police station.

In Magura, a woman was killed and three others injured when a bus hit a easybike from behind near Baliadanga area.

The diceaseaed is Anjali Biswas, 45, is a resident of Charbagni vaillage of Shailkupa upazila in Jhenaidah.

Tariqul Islma, ASP in Magura confirmed the matter.

In Panchagarh, a child died when a auto rickshaw hit him in district's Sadar upazila on Sunday.

The deceased identified as Mahin, 4, son of Rimop Ali from Sadar upazila, confirmed Abu Akkash Ahmed, officer in charge of Panchagarh police  station.

In Kishoreganj, a school boy was killed when a bus ran him over near Pulerghat area on Sunday.

The deceased is Hridoy Hossain, 16, son of Abu Taher from Nayahati village of sadar upazila.

Shafiqul Islam, in charge of Ahutia Investigation Centre confirmed the accident.

In Comilla, three people were killed after being hit by a bus on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway, near Comilla Sadar Dakshin Upazila on Sunday. 

The deceased are Kajol, 25, Shojol, 24, and Shahin, 24, of Bijoypur area.

Komol Krishna Dhor, Inspector (investigation) of Comilla south police station, confirmed the matter.

In Munshiganj, a 76-year-old man named Tajul Islam was killed after being hit by a bus on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway, near Gazaria upazila on Sunday morning, confirmed by Rashedul Haque, sub-inspector (SI) of Dhaka-Chittagong highway police outpost.

In Chuadanga, a man died 12 days after he was hit by a bus near Academi mor area on Sunday.

The deceaesd identified as Ashraful Islam Polash, 30, son of mukul Hossain from Satghori village of Chuadanga sadar upazila.
