Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has termed the use of force by Israel upon the Palestine as violation of human rights.
She has also condemned the relocation of the US Embassy to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv.
Hasina said this when Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım called her over phone at 7:30pm on Tuesday. They talked for over 15 minutes, said the prime minister’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim.
He said Yıldırım informed Hasina that the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has called a special summit on May 18 on the recent Palestinian issue. The Turkish premier then invited her to attend the summit.
Praising the initiative as a time-befitting one, Hasina urged the Muslim Ummah to remain united.
She also reiterated Bangladesh's stance for an independent Palestine state.
