ACC chief asks employees to work sincerely

Iqbal said lobbying trade now has reduced to zero level and no work is done by influence in the commission

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Iqbal Mahmood has asked the commission’s officials and employees to stop the habit of lobbying and to work with sincerity and honesty.

He said this while addressing meeting arranged in commemoration of four officials and employees of the commission at the ACC headquarters in Dhaka on Sunday, reports BSS.

Iqbal said ‘lobbying trade’ has been reduced to zero level at the ACC in the last three and half years. Now nobody dares to lobby in the commission, he added.

ACC Commissioner AFM Aminul Islam, its Secretary Md Dilwar Bakth, Director General Abdun Nur Muhammad Al Firoz and Director Syed Iqbal Hossain attended the memorial meeting, among others.

The meeting was arranged in memory of former ACC director Md Abu Sayeed, former assistant director Sardar Manjur Ahmed, former constables Md Abdul Jalil Mandal and Md Majibur Rahman.
