The bodies of 25 individuals—who died in a fire at FR Tower, in Dhaka's Banani—have been handed over to their families after being identified.
The officials concerned handed over 24 bodies, of the 25 recovered, to their respective family members on Friday.
The FR Tower fire incident has claimed the lives of 25 people and 70 more were injured.

Confirming the matter to the Dhaka Tribune Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Gulshan Division Deputy Commissioner Mushtaq Ahmed said: "24 bodies have been handed over to their families. A total of 25 victims lost their lives in the fire.
"Several probe bodies have been formed to investigate the fire incident. They all are working together."

Previously, on Thursday, a fire broke out at Banani's FR Tower around 12:52pm.
It took 21 firefighting units of the Dhaka Fire Service and Civil Defence to douse the fire as it was brought under control around 4:45pm on the same day.
