The 13th span is likely to be installed soon
Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has said around 67% work of the Padma Bridge has been completed.
The minister made the statement while addressing a press briefing at Shetu Bhaban in Dhaka on Monday, reports UNB.
He said: “Some 76% work of the main bridge has been completed while 55% of the river training and 100% work of the connecting roads are done. The overall progress of the project is 67%,” he said.
Some 1,800 metres of the Padma Bridge are now visible, after the installation of 12th span. The 13th span is likely to be installed in the next few days, he said.
